After graduating from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Nanda Vigo traveled to Arizona to study under Frank Llyod Wright at his educational facility, Taliesin West. And she was not impressed. Vigo eventually made her way back to Milan, where she explored the use of light and highly polished metal in her lamps and furniture designs. The 90-degree angles and plain geometry of Vigo’s Wright-Wright chair pay tribute to Wright’s linear Prairie style but with Vigo’s characteristic twist and shaggy fur upholstery.
