The threesome formed Studio DDL in Milan in 1966. Their collaboration eventually led to the first commercially viable inflatable chair, in collaboration with Lomazzi’s wife, Carla Scolari. The studio eventually focused on architectural projects and smaller scale domestic objects. The group’s work is included in many museum collections.
