Much of 1960s design focused on elemental geometry. Francesco Buzzi rode that trend, creating the Cuffia series of lamps, with the floor lamp presented in Different Tendencies. Italian for “bonnet” or “cap,” the Cuffia’s asymmetrical halves open and close depending on the operator’s light preferences. A striking, sculptural example of Italian interior furnishings.
