All graduates of the Politecnico di Torino in the late 1950s and early 1960s, Derossi, Ceretti and Rosso started designing interiors in 1966. They designed their iconic Puffo stool for the 14th Triennale di Milano in 1968. By 1971, they had formalized their group as “Gruppo Strum,” an abbreviation for “Group for Instrumental Architecture and had several pieces in production with Gufram, including the Pratone and Torneraj chairs shown in “Different Tendencies.”
